Refund Policy
When you may cancel a programme purchased from the Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™, what you get back, and how long it takes.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to every programme, assessment, credential, and digital product purchased from the Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™ (“the Institute”), operated by Rahul Ghai, sole proprietor, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Products currently offered without charge are outside this policy, because nothing has been paid. Where a free or beta product is later priced, this policy applies to purchases made from that date onward.
A product offered free or in beta is provided as it stands and may be changed, limited, or withdrawn at any time. Where access is ended for any reason other than a breach of the Terms or a security concern, reasonable advance notice is given by email. No payment is taken for such a product and no refund arises.
This policy applies to iaaa.academy and to every subdomain and application operated by the Institute, including vantage.iaaa.academy and productivity.iaaa.academy. Where an individual product publishes its own terms, those apply in addition to this policy. Where they conflict, the product’s own terms govern purchases made on that product’s own site, and this policy governs everything else. Nothing in a product’s own terms reduces a right this policy gives you.
2. The refund window
You may request a full refund within seven calendar days of the date of purchase, provided both of the following are true:
- you have accessed less than half of the programme content, and
- no certificate, credential, or assessment result has been issued to you.
What counts as accessing content is defined for each programme on its own page. Where a programme does not define it, this condition does not apply.
Where both conditions are met, the full amount paid is refunded, including any Goods and Services Tax collected.
3. When a refund is not available
- After the seventh calendar day from the date of purchase.
- Where half or more of the programme content has been accessed.
- Where a certificate, credential, or assessment result has already been issued.
- Assessment and examination fees, once the assessment has been attempted. An assessment is attempted when it is started, not when it is submitted.
- Where access has been withdrawn for a breach of the Terms.
4. Cancellation by you
You may cancel a purchase at any time by writing to support@iaaa.academy from the email address used at purchase. A cancellation made within the refund window is treated as a refund request under clause 2. A cancellation made after it ends access without a refund.
Programmes priced by the month do not renew automatically and no recurring payment is set up. Each month is bought separately, and a month already paid for is not refunded on a pro-rata basis.
5. Cancellation by the Institute
If the Institute cancels or withdraws a programme you have paid for and cannot offer a comparable replacement, you receive a full refund of the amount paid for that programme, regardless of the seven-day window and regardless of how much content you have accessed.
6. How to request a refund
Write to support@iaaa.academy with your name, the email address used at purchase, the programme name, and the date of purchase. You do not need to give a reason.
Requests are acknowledged within two working days and decided within five working days of acknowledgement.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within five to seven working days of approval. The time taken for the amount to appear in your account after that depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside the control of the Institute.
Refunds are issued in Indian Rupees. Where you paid in another currency, the amount you receive may differ from the amount you paid, because of exchange-rate movement between the purchase and the refund. The Institute does not reimburse currency-conversion losses or fees charged by your own bank.
8. Questions and disputes
If you disagree with a decision made under this policy, write to founder@iaaa.academy and it will be reviewed personally. This policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
Cancellation, including how to cancel a monthly programme and what happens if the Institute cancels one, is set out in the Cancellation Policy. Postal address for correspondence is given on the Contact page.
