Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The Institute of Applied AI and Analytics^™ (IAAA) is an independent institute founded by Rahul Ghai, based in Bangalore, India. It is referred to as IAAA throughout the rest of this page. This policy applies to iaaa.academy and to every subdomain and application operated by the Institute, including vantage.iaaa.academy and productivity.iaaa.academy, together with any forms, emails, or services connected to them. Where an individual product publishes its own privacy notice, that notice applies in addition to this one. Where they conflict, the product’s own notice governs data collected through that product’s own site, and this policy governs everything else. Nothing in a product’s own notice reduces a right this policy gives you.

2. What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone or WhatsApp number, if you provide it
• Your organisation and role, if you provide them
• Your professional function, experience level, or background, if you share it
• The track you say you are interested in, and your reason for wanting it
• Whether you are applying for the student discount
• Any message or challenge you choose to describe

If you apply for the student discount, you send proof of student status to support@iaaa.academy by email. We use that document only to verify eligibility, we do not store it beyond verification, and we delete it once your enrolment is confirmed.

Apart from that verification, we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial account numbers, or government identity numbers through this site. Please do not send them.

The enquiry form on this site is for adults. It offers professional programmes only, and no programme for children can be enrolled on through it. Where an enquiry concerns a programme for a child, the details collected are the parent’s or guardian’s, not the child’s. Please do not send a child’s personal details through this form. Section 5 sets out how children’s information is handled.

3. How we use it

Information you share is used to:

• Respond to your enquiry directly
• Understand the real problems professionals face, to shape what IAAA builds
• Occasionally share something we believe is genuinely worth your time — never a newsletter you did not ask for, and never sold to third parties

4. How it is stored

Form submissions are processed through Formspree and delivered to our email (founder@iaaa.academy, hosted on Google Workspace). We do not maintain a separate public-facing database of your information.

We keep enquiry and enrolment records only for as long as they serve the purpose you sent them for: to answer you, to run the programme you joined, and to keep a record of enrolment. If you have had no contact with us for two years and are not enrolled in a programme, we delete what we hold. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

5. Children and young people

Some IAAA programmes are made for children and teenagers — IAAA Junior Academy, IAAA Young Minds, and IAAA Fast Fingers. India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act treats anyone under the age of eighteen as a child. This section sets out how the Institute handles children’s information.

What is true today. IAAA Junior Academy and IAAA Young Minds are in development. They are not open, no child is enrolled on either, and no child’s personal data has been collected for them. IAAA Fast Fingers is available now, free of charge, and is described below.

IAAA Fast Fingers. There is no sign-in, no account, and no email address is asked for. The typing profile — the display name a child chooses and their practice results — is held in the browser on the device being used, and clearing the browser’s data for the site removes it. The product also offers an optional AI coach: when a child sends the coach a message, that message, a summary of their progress, their recent exchanges with the coach, and an identifier for the device are sent to a service that answers it. A fuller description of that service, including how long it keeps what it receives, is being prepared and will be published here.

We do not advertise to children. No advertising is directed at any child, and no child’s information is sold, or shared with anyone for marketing. Information about how a child is progressing is used to teach them the subject they came to learn, and for no other purpose.

When the children’s programmes open. Enrolment will be made by a parent or legal guardian, who provides their own contact details and gives consent for their child to take part. The Institute will not accept an enrolment from a child directly. A child’s record will hold only what teaching requires — typically a first name or chosen display name, progress through the material, and what the child has and has not yet mastered. We will not ask a child for a home address, a telephone number, a photograph, or a government identity number, and we ask that none be sent. This notice will be updated with the detail before any children’s programme opens for enrolment.

A parent’s rights over a child’s information. A parent or guardian may ask at any time to see everything we hold about their child, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, and may withdraw consent — after which the child’s participation ends and their record is deleted. Write to founder@iaaa.academy. These requests are answered within thirty days, and usually sooner.

If you believe a child’s personal data has reached us without a parent’s consent, write to founder@iaaa.academy and it will be deleted promptly.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Email founder@iaaa.academy and we will act on it promptly.

IAAA is based in India. If you believe we have mishandled your information and our reply does not resolve it, you may raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority. Rahul Ghai is the person responsible for these requests and can be reached at the address above.

Where the Institute operates. The only geographic restriction at present is IAAA Vantage, which is not offered or sold to residents of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, and does not knowingly process their personal data. If another product comes to carry a restriction, it is stated on that product’s own page. This mirrors section 8 of the Terms.

7. Cookies, analytics, and the services this site loads

This site does not use advertising trackers. If basic analytics are added in the future, to understand which pages are useful, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

Three third parties are involved in serving or running this site, and each sees something. Naming them is the point of this section:

• Cloudflare hosts the site. It necessarily processes the request that delivers each page, including your IP address, and may set a security cookie to distinguish people from bots.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads, before you interact with anything.
• cal.com powers the booking link in the navigation and footer. Nothing is shared until you open it; if you book a call, the name, email and any message you give go to cal.com and are governed by their privacy policy as well as this one.

Formspree handles the enquiry form, as described in section 2.

8. Changes to this policy

As IAAA grows, this policy will be updated. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
