Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us.

This is a starting Privacy Policy for the Institute of Applied AI and Analytics™ (IAAA), written in plain language. It covers the essentials for a small, early-stage site. It is not a substitute for legal advice — review with a professional before relying on it for compliance purposes (e.g. India's DPDP Act or other applicable regulations) as IAAA grows.

1. Who we are

IAAA is an independent institute founded by Rahul Ghai, based in Bangalore, India. This policy applies to iaaa.academy and any forms, emails, or services connected to it.

2. What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number, if you provide it
  • Your organisation and role, if you provide them
  • Your professional function, experience level, or background, if you share it
  • The track you say you are interested in, and your reason for wanting it
  • Whether you are applying for the student discount
  • Any message or challenge you choose to describe

If you apply for the student discount, you send proof of student status to support@iaaa.academy by email. We use that document only to verify eligibility, we do not store it beyond verification, and we delete it once your enrolment is confirmed.

Apart from that verification, we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as health information, financial account numbers, or government identity numbers through this site. Please do not send them.

3. How we use it

Information you share is used to:

  • Respond to your enquiry directly
  • Understand the real problems professionals face, to shape what IAAA builds
  • Occasionally share something we believe is genuinely worth your time — never a newsletter you did not ask for, and never sold to third parties

4. How it is stored

Form submissions are processed through Formspree and delivered to our email (founder@iaaa.academy, hosted on Google Workspace). We do not maintain a separate public-facing database of your information.

We keep enquiry and enrolment records only for as long as they serve the purpose you sent them for: to answer you, to run the cohort you joined, and to keep a record of enrolment. If you have had no contact with us for two years and are not enrolled in a programme, we delete what we hold. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

5. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Email founder@iaaa.academy and we will act on it promptly.

IAAA is based in India. If you believe we have mishandled your information and our reply does not resolve it, you may raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority. Rahul Ghai is the person responsible for these requests and can be reached at the address above.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use advertising trackers. If we add basic analytics in the future (to understand which pages are useful), this policy will be updated to reflect it.

7. Changes to this policy

As IAAA grows, this policy will be updated. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
